Dr Mark Wilbourn
Mark trained at the University of Southampton. He undertook Basic Surgical Training in Rotherham and Sheffield. He subsequently spent four years training in ENT and Maxillofacial Surgery before deciding that only General Practice offered the breadth of practice that he was suited to. He therefore opted to train as a GP in the Wessex region.
After his medical degree, Mark has undertaken the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England diploma, the Diploma in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health and Epidemiology, the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has some diplomas in nutrition. He has been awarded the Royal College of General Practitioners Fellowship, their highest award.
Mark moved to Jersey in 2010 and has worked in Rosewood House, Sandybrook Nursing Home, Island Medical Centre and the Primary Care Governance Team.
Mark currently works part time 5 days per week for Windsor Medical Practice and alternate Saturday mornings. He is also a GP appraiser and former Advanced Trauma Life Support instructor. He is a Trustee of The Oxygen Centre, MSNTC trustee and a qualified Barochamber operator.

Dr Bhavi Patel, GP
MPharm (Hons), MBChB, MRCGP
Bhavi started off her career as a Community Pharmacist in 2007, living and working in the
Leicestershire and Rutland region in the UK. She eventually went on to study medicine, initially pursuing paediatrics before deciding to train as a GP in Oxford. She lived and worked there for 8 years before moving to Jersey with her family. She has a wide breadth of experience in specialities such as paediatrics, emergency medicine, ear nose and throat surgery, general surgery, acute medicine, elderly care and dermatology.
She offers joint injections, cryotherapy, smear screening and has an interest in women’s health.
In her spare time she enjoys globe-trotting as well as practising yoga, meditation, ayurveda and spending time with friends and family. She also volunteers for and helps to organise an annual charitable event in the UK hosting up to 20,000 members of the public.

Dr Steffen Osbelt - part time
Steffen is originally from Germany and started his medical career working as a Paramedic during medical school. In Steffen’s early career, he specialised in gastroenterology and acute psychiatry and then later moved into General Practice.
Steffen currently works 3 days a week at Windsor Medical, and is also one of the teams specialists in medicinal cannabis.
Alongside his General Practice, Steffen is a teaching consultant for Snaefell Surgery in Douglas, Isle of Man whereby he mentors and trains Pharmacists in their independent prescribing.
Outside of work, Steffen is a keen cyclist, and enjoys the outdoors.

Dr Maksims Sdobnikovs, GP
Maks has an extensive background in Orthopaedics and Oncology, working across a range of hospitals in locus work during his training. Whilst at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth, Maks predominantly focussed his work around Geriatric Medicine. Maks has experience with working with a complex range of patients with various conditions and also triages patients.

Dr Ranjan Vhadra, GP
MBBS, FRCS
Mr Vhadra is an orthopaedic surgeon with over 20 years of experience as a consultant treating orthopaedic conditions. His specialist interest is managing muscle, joint, and tendon conditions conservatively without the need for surgery. He utilises the latest advances in orthobiologic treatments. Mr Vhadra trained as a doctor at St Bartholomews Hospital in London and his higher surgical training was at some of the most prestigious hospitals for orthopaedics in the UK. He has also trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan, New York. He has also published many research papers and his research has been presented internationally. He has patents on a number of medical devices he has invented. Mr Vhadra runs his own clinic called First Contact Health in Guernsey and has his own MRI scanners and CT scanners.
Conditions seen:
Mr Vhadra can see and treat all joint conditions, particularly knee, hip, shoulder, spine, foot and ankle disorders. He is able to perform ultrasound-guided injections of corticosteroid or Hyaluronic acid or Platelet-rich plasma. He can organise MRI scans and refer for physiotherapy or surgery if needed. Mr Vhadra is also a specialist in Preventative health medicine and performs whole-body assessments.
