Service and Fees
General Terms
Where a patient, visitor or other is not entitled to the Social Security Health Insurance Fund (HIF) rebate, the gross feee is payable. In surgery, fees are payable at the time of service. A £7 Account Booking Fee will be applied to all fees not paid in full on the day of the service. The £7 Account Booking Fee can be deducted if payment is made within 7 days of the invoice date. All accounts are payable in full on receipt of invoice and /or statement. All travel vaccinations must be paid for on the day, no accounts will be issued. A £7 Overdue Account Fee will be applied to all overdue accounts on a monthly basis until payment is received in full. We kindly request a minimum two hours notice to cancel an appointment to prevent a cancellation fee or DNA charge of £30 being raised. All fees are charged at the clinician/practice managers discretion.
Government of Jersey - Medical Benefit Rebate & Health Schemes
The Government of Jersey will provide an additional financial support of £20.00 towards an Islander's GP Fees for in-surgery face-to-face GP consultations only. Eligible Islanders will be charged the reduced fees as per the above schedule where entitled to the Medical Benefit rebate. In addition, further support is provided for those on the Health Assistance Scheme (HAS) and for Children and Young Persons aged 0-17 through the Child Health Scheme (CHS) for both surgery and telephone consultations.
Account booking & Overdue Account Fees
A £7.00 Account Booking Fee will be applied to all invoices that can be deducted if payment is received in full within 7 days of service/invoice date. To avoid this fee, we therefore kindly ask that all surgery fees are paid for at the time of attendance. A £7.00 Overdue Account Fee will be added to all accounts of 30 days overdue until payment is received in full.
